Weekend Update

Wow! Friday morning started off freezing as Thomas, James and I attempted to run a few errands. That night we journeyed over to my dad's house for burgers, hot dogs and delicious Hershey's Cake for Brian's birtday!

I should have waited until Saturday to run my errands because it was b-e-a-utiful!! We spent most of the afternoon in the backyard, running, laughing and sword fighting. Oh, life with boys!

Saturday was Brian's actual birthday so I prepared his absolute favorite dessert: Cream Cheese Pie. Everyone enjoyed dinner and dessert and the boys settled down for the night by watching Return of the Jedi. Momma respectfully declined and chose to clean up after our festivities instead. : )

 

 

 

Even through all the chaos of this past week with James recovering from surgery and the time change we were able to make it to church Sunday morning. Brian and I actually made it before the announcements began! That's hard enough for us on a regular Sunday!

 

Brian's dad came down from Liberty, SC and treated us all to lunch at Outback. He joined us back at our house for some more fun in the sun...and a little soccer too!

 

Jason and Dylan headed home this evening and tomorrow it will be back to our "regular" schedule. Luckily the nice weather is supposed to linger for a few more days before turning cooler and rainy later in the week.

Gonna soak it up, though.
