Hoppin' Weekend

This weekend was one of those rare, quiet weekends for us. Thomas went to his dad's house on Thursday, and we only had Jason and Dylan Friday night so they could spend Easter with their mom. This meant lots of time with this little bunny and a date night for me and Brian--even if James was with us and it only consisted of a trip to Party City, Sports Authority, Kroger and Moe's! That's romance when you're over 30 and have four kids.

Thomas came back to us on Sunday afternoon under the influence of Dimetapp and spewing a pretty nasty cough. That didn't stop him from enjoying his Easter basket at PawPaw's (my dad) and hunting for eggs in the yard.

After dinner we all lounged around and chatted. James got some peek-a-boo time with PawPaw and Thomas gave us a fashion show with my peep-toe shoes. (Oh yeeaah...those pictures will be going in his senior ad.)






For such a simple weekend I woke up absolutely exhausted this morning. Hopefully Thomas' candy will get me through the rest of the week! Happy Easter Monday!
